Kelseanne Breder, PhD, PMHNP-BC, GERO-BC
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in NYC
I am a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner and a psychoanalytic candidate at New York Psychoanalytic Society & Institute. I earned my Ph.D and two master’s degrees from Columbia University. In addition to seeing patients, I work as a Clinical Assistant Professor at NYU Rory Meyers College of Nursing, where I teach psychodynamic psychotherapy and pharmacology.
I utilize a trauma-informed approach blended with psychodynamic and psychoanalytic techniques. My clinical experience spans a range of areas, including geriatric psychiatry, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, PTSD, and addiction. My goal is to provide a space where you can feel safe to explore your thoughts and feelings. Through a therapeutic relationship, you have the power to uncover what it is that you need to learn. It is my job to provide you with emotional support and guidance to help nurture individual growth and healing.
